Coaching for Kids and Teens
“Because good kids need help too.”
Coaching with your child supports him or her in focusing on the present and
future. Through coaching, your child receives specialized one on one attention
that focuses on understanding beliefs and reasoning behind actions and choices.
Often times, parents and those who care about their children are doing the best
they can by taking the child to a doctor and having medication prescribed for
behavioral issues. Sometimes this is the appropriate mode of action and many
times the medication is just masking the problem. When the medication is stopped,
the behavior will continue. In some cases, the medication is helpful in conjunction
with psychological assistance as it supports the person while he or she works on
the core issue. In our experience, coaching children and teens and helping them
learn from, work through, and grow from their individual life experiences can yield
results with a more significant impact- a happier and healthier person.
